Michael Earing, MD

Dr. Earing is an adult and pediatric-trained cardiologist who specializes in the care of adults with congenital heart disease, Marfan and related connective tissue disorders, and cardiogenetics. He is a professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at  University of Chicago-Medicine. He is the medical director of the Chicago Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, which is the largest ACHD program in Chicago, seeing over 60 patients a week at sites throughout the University of Chicago, Advocate Health Care System, and the Endeavor Healthcare system. He also serves as the section chief and division director of pediatric cardiology for both University of Chicago-Comer Children’s Hospital and Advocate Children’s Hospital. He is the Co-director of the cardiovascular service line for the Chicagoland Children’s Healthcare Alliance: University of Chicago-medicine, Advocate Health, and Endeavor Health. Dr. Earing has published over 100 manuscripts, including numerous national guideline statements. His research focus is the diagnosis and the management of extracardiac complications in the adult with congenital heart disease.
